What does AdX approval mean?
AdX approval means your inventory can move forward toward Google Ad Exchange monetization through the right account setup, policy status, and partner relationship.
For most growing publishers, AdX approval is not a public self-serve form. It usually happens through one of two paths: direct access with Google for large publishers, or access through a Google MCM partner that can review, invite, onboard, and optimize eligible publishers inside Google Ad Manager.
With AdsClap, approval starts with a review. If your Google Ad Manager account, payment history, traffic quality, and content meet our requirements, AdsClap can send a Manage Account MCM invitation through Google Ad Manager.
AdX approval is not instant approval
Some websites advertise “instant AdX approval.” That sounds attractive, but it is not how a responsible MCM partnership should work.
A serious partner needs to review your account before making promises. That includes your Google Ad Manager status, payment history, traffic sources, invalid traffic risk, site quality, content policy, and whether your account can safely receive an MCM invitation.
Fast review is good. Fake certainty is not.
AdsClap can review eligibility quickly, but we do not treat approval as automatic. If your account is not ready, we would rather tell you what is blocking onboarding than send you into a setup that creates policy, payment, or traffic-quality risk later.
Direct AdX approval vs MCM approval
There are two common paths to AdX access.
Direct AdX access is usually suited for large publishers with mature ad operations, strong traffic volume, a direct relationship with Google, and the ability to manage Ad Manager, demand, pricing, reporting, and policy risk internally.
AdX access through MCM is a practical path for qualified publishers that want AdX demand through a partner relationship inside Google Ad Manager. AdsClap works through Manage Account MCM partnerships — your Google Ad Manager account remains yours.

AdsClap's AdX approval checklist
Before sending an MCM invitation, AdsClap reviews every publisher across account health, payment history, traffic quality, content quality, policy risk, and technical readiness.
1. Check
Active Google Ad Manager account
Your Google Ad Manager account must be approved, active, and reviewable. AdsClap cannot onboard accounts that are pending Google approval, disapproved, duplicate, deactivated by Ad Manager, or affected by serious invalid activity issues.
2. Check
Recent Google payout history
AdsClap requires at least $250 in Google payouts received in the last 3 months (one payment or combined). No empty or brand-new accounts are eligible.
3. Check
Clean traffic quality
Your traffic must be real, stable, and not artificially generated. AdsClap reviews traffic sources, fraud risk, invalid traffic signals, SIVT, bot patterns, incentivized traffic, suspicious spikes, and how Google treats your activity over time.
4. Check
Original and useful content
Your site should publish original content that provides value to users. AdsClap does not onboard duplicated sites, mirror sites, AI-generated sites, thin content, or other low-value inventory built mainly for monetization.
5. Check
Policy-safe inventory
Your site and account should be free of major policy issues, ad manipulation, invalid activity, and unsafe monetization practices. Google Publisher Policies apply to content on the page or app, including user-generated content, other ads, and links.
6. Check
Technical readiness
Your site should be technically ready for review: working pages, HTTPS, crawlable content, clear ownership, stable ad placements, updated ads.txt, and no suspicious redirects, malware warnings, hidden ads, or accidental click traps.

Who should not apply yet?
Please do not apply for AdX approval through AdsClap if your account or site has any of these issues.
INELIGIBLE REASONS

Accounts Google has not approved yet, or that cannot be onboarded as-is.

How long does AdX approval take?
The timeline depends on your account status, MCM readiness, traffic quality, and whether anything needs to be fixed before onboarding.
AdsClap can review your eligibility quickly, but Google-side MCM readiness and child publisher approval are not always instant. In Google's MCM documentation, child publisher approval generally takes a few days, but it can take 2–4 weeks in some cases.
The fastest path is not skipping review. The fastest path is applying with a healthy account, clean traffic, clear content, and no unresolved policy issues.
Common reasons AdX approval fails
Brand-new account
No Google payout history, no stable monetization data, or not enough account history to review.
Unhealthy Google account
Pending approval, duplicate account, disapproved account, deactivated Ad Manager account, or unresolved invalid activity.
Invalid traffic risk
Bot traffic, incentivized visits, paid traffic spikes, accidental clicks, suspicious geos, traffic exchanges, or SIVT signals.
Low-value content
Thin pages, copied content, mirror sites, AI-generated pages at scale, or sites created mainly to display ads.
Policy issues
Prohibited content, misleading layouts, accidental click traps, aggressive refresh, unsafe placements, or unresolved policy center issues.
Technical problems
Broken pages, missing ads.txt, unclear ownership, bad crawlability, malware warnings, suspicious redirects, or hidden placements.
Wrong expectation
Looking for guaranteed or instant approval instead of a real account review.

AdX approval vs AdSense approval
AdSense is usually simpler and more accessible for smaller publishers. AdX is a more advanced monetization path that depends on Google Ad Manager, demand access, account health, traffic quality, policy compliance, and often an MCM partner relationship.
If you are still early, AdSense may be the right starting point. If you already have a healthy Google Ad Manager account, clean traffic, payment history, and enough revenue potential, AdX through AdsClap may make sense.
